چکیده

Jinggangshan City, which is located in the southwestern part of Jiangxi Province, rich hot springs. However, lack geothermal studies has limited exploration and utilization resources this city. This study estimated terrestrial heat flow City through well logging analyses rock thermal conductivity production. Based on surrounding geoscience transect Crust 1.0 model, constructed a one-dimensional lithospheric structure by solving steady-state conduction equation. Furthermore, deep temperature distribution was obtained to better understand geodynamic condition The results show that city around 83.52 mW/m 2 , indicating high background for formation resources. According mantle contributes more ( q m /q c > 1) than crust. Mohorovicic discontinuity (the Moho) 671.7°C, consistent with below Tanlu fault (620–690°C). Moreover, calculated depth Curie surface (585°C) 27 km, isotherm from aeromagnetic data. consistency verifies validity study. In summary, plays an important role City.

Geothermal Vertical Effects in Thermal Response Tests

We present analytical solutions for the temperature around the borehole heat exchanger which account for: (I) finite length line-source; (II) natural vertical gradient of the ground temperature; (III) arbitrary changes of the ground surface temperature. We find that the time-dependent part of the solution decays as a power of the time approaching the steady state limit. The long-time limit and ...

Implications of the Background Radiation for Cosmic Structure Formation

The cosmic microwave background (CMB) is a remarkably distortionless blackbody, and this strongly constrains the amount of energy that can have been injected at high redshift, thereby limiting the role that hydrodynamical amplification can have played in cosmic structure formation. The current data on primary anisotropies (those calculated using linear response theory) provide very strong suppo...

Hydrogen Peroxide Cycling in High-Temperature Acidic Geothermal Springs and Potential Implications for Oxidative Stress Response

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), superoxide (O •− 2 ), and hydroxyl radicals (OH ) are produced in natural waters via ultraviolet (UV) light-induced reactions between dissolved oxygen (O2) and organic carbon, and further reaction of H2O2 and Fe(II) (i.e., Fenton chemistry). The temporal and spatial dynamics of H2O2 and other dissolved compounds [Fe(II), Fe(III), H2S, O2] were measured during a diel cy...

Prospecting for geothermal energy through satellite based thermal data: Review and the way forward

Geothermal investors need to be confident with the methods and results of exploration programs. Also cutting the upfront cost of geothermal exploration will further encourage investors to consider investment in this emerging clean energy field. Hence, it is of paramount importance to improve prospecting techniques in order to explore where economic concentrations of geothermal energy are to be ...

African lithospheric structure, volcanism, and topography

In Africa volumetrically minor, mid-plate volcanic rocks of Cenozoic age are concentrated in areas affected by Pan-African (500 _+ 150 Ma) crustal reactivation, and are virtually absent from cratonic areas. We interpret this as indicating that Pan-African areas are underlain by fertile lithospheric mantle and cratons by depleted lithospheric mantle, and propose a model to explain both the distr...
